This part (below) is still the part that makes me very (no...make that EXTREMELY) confused. Old quests (from OLD site) invalid or not? Quests, Daily Quests (Quests change???) and Active Quests?
Please, PLEASE tell me there's a simpler, more understandable explanation.
The energy part I think I can handle. But these NEW (and possibly OLD) quests parts are giving me headaches trying to understand.

Yeah it's pretty simple. Before there were daily quests. All the quests were listed at once, and you could do each of them a limited number of times for the day, and you were done.
Now there aren't "daily" quests anymore. There are just active quests. Every daily quest from possible is now a POSSIBLE quest you can get -- you always have 4 active quests at a time (well 3 and a suggested achievement). The non-active quests are hidden and you don't see them. When you complete one of the active quests on your list, it picks a POSSIBLE quest from the master list of all quests, and makes that a new active quest for you (so you have 4 of them again) |

I am having mixed feelings. I admire you for your thoughts. This new quest system is unique. Fresh. Different. But I hate, hate, hate the way it is set up now. Currently "locked in" to my impossible quests. So presuming (or assuming) that will never change. Not even in 24 hours.
Change for the sake of change is not always a good thing. |

Some quests are harder than others, but I don't think any are impossible, even for someone like you that has high scores on most of the games on the site. The hardest for you is probably getting a top ten alltime high score, because you have to beat your previous score on a game. But I have been playing games off and on the last few hours (with a test account to make sure things are working well for new players), and I played several games you didn't have any score at all on, and some of those I got a top ten score on. Declaring a challenge is easier still, because you don't have to beat your own score, you just have to get a score in the top half of all the scores.
And completing a daily challenge is ALWAYS a quest and never goes away, and it's no more difficult than it was before. Also, it's not in place yet, but soon it is going to be set up so that if you manage to beat all 3 daily challenges, a new one will unlock for the day, and if you beat that one, a new one will unlock, etc. Although I know some days there are daily challenges that are extremely hard to beat and no one does it.
Of course, I could always make an option to "skip" a quest. I've thought about that some. But it can't be too easy or cheap to do that, because people would skip quests too often and just do the easy ones (rating/emailing/liking games). I am definitely open to suggestions! But I don't think any of the quests are impossible, or even close to impossible. Some are just more difficult than others. I think "resetting" and/or "skipping" quests might be a good option to have, but haven't thought of a good way to implement that possibility that makes sense and is balanced with everything else. |

| For example I wouldn't want to reset someone's quests while they were in the middle of doing them, and it's hard to tell if someone is "trying" to do a quest. |

Saucyone,
take a screenshot of the entire screen, press the Print Screen (it could also be labeled as PrtScn or PrtScrn) button on your keyboard. It can be found near the top, to the right of all the F keys (F1, F2, etc) and often in line with the arrow keys.
To take a screenshot of just the program that is active, press and hold the Alt button (found on either side of the space bar), then press the Print Screen button.
To view this screenshot further or save as an image, you can use Microsoft Paint (Paint) or any other graphics program. We recommend using the Paint program.
To open Paint Program on your system - Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories->Paint
When you are in Paint at a blank page click on Edit and then click on Paste and your screen shot will appear on the blank page.
To save, just go through the usual steps for saving a picture or graphics item (for example, click File, then Save As or Save.)
Choose the desired location (drive/folder) to save the file. Default location is Desktop. Write the desired name in the File Name. You can also select the desired image type by clicking on Save as type option from the drop-down menu. For example here we are saving file screen01 as type .PNG (recommended).

Chat icon replaced. Now there is "more" or "less". Use "more" to show chat. Use "less" to close the chat window.
There is also a new "menu" (for more, less, mail, etc. under your profile "box".
I like this. More informative. |

I like it too :) In case you were wondering, there are buttons on your profile page to edit profile or edit settings. You can still click on your avatar image to go to your profile.
Did this new setup fix the problem you were having saucy? Or is it still messed up for you? |

| Haplo, just my own opinion, as always, but there's just 1 thing I think needs to be changed. I think the "active quests" need to be moved to another area. I don't chat. why? Because this wireless keyboard in my lap while sitting in my recliner causes too many typos! *lol* So i hate opening chat just to view my active quests. But it's no big deal. I can deal with it. |

I've noticed that Back doesn't work properly on IE. Definitely have to got to get that fixed pronto. Still want to try and release everything by the end of the week. And also, as rock pointed out, back doesn't work anywhere if you're on the forum and then go back. I think it's a stylesheets issue, I'm on top of it but don't have a fix yet.
Also on later versions of IE, there is a compatibility mode that sometimes gets turned on and makes the browser act like its an older version. Bad juju because it's very small and RIGHT NEXT to the reload button.  So it gets turned on easily by accident. I'll want to get the site working well for older browsers too (graceful degradation it's called) but until I do if you are on a later browser and it's IE be on the lookout for that.

Edit: actually, if all goes well, I might be able to switch everything to the new site by late tomorrow night. Depends on if I can finish everything, will be coding from 3pm-9pm+ server time. Will be hanging out here on the site for another hour right now then I gotta make some dinner and crash, as I haven't slept in 31 hours lol. Yeah, I know that's not good. But I'm gonna get some well-deserved sleep here in a couple hours and tomorrow afternoon I'm gonna kick some more ass and get this thing done so everyone can enjoy all the awesome new stuff =) |

FYI, I use Chrome. The back arrows on Chrome do not work anywhere on the new site. Not only the forum, but ANY page on the new site. You click the back arrow and you stay on the same page. Click on the back arrow again and it goes to my browser start page.
