I had an Active Quest to "take First place in a tournament". I did that yesterday (Tuesday, July 30) with Turkey Bowling 2005 but was not awarded gold for completing the Active Quest. So maybe the wording was incorrect. Maybe it didn't mean "take". Maybe it meant "win". So I won the tournament. But I still did not receive the Gold for completing the Active Quest. In fact the Active quest is still there.

| It means take. You have to be in second place or lower, and overtake someone else in first place. If you are already in first place getting a higher score doesn't count as "taking". Perhaps that's what happened? Or if you are already in first place and THEN get the quest to take first place, it doesn't count either. Will continue to look into it, but if there's actually a bug here it seems situational and may take a little while to track down. Will let you know what I discover. |

It had been a while since I had played that game. So the first time I played it yesterday I was in 4th place or something like that. Then the 2nd or 3rd time I played it the game play came back to me and I got 1st place.
Bug or not...I obviously completed the Active Quest. |

Still waiting for this matter to be resolved. The tournaments have a history. Showing players and positions. Haplo even recently increased storage for history (or something like this). So a quick look at that history will show my previous position and my final position of first place.

When I check those and compare, I find there's an 18-24 hour time lag before the Top Player page catches up to the amounts shown on Profile Pages.

rockcastlecoky: quest to take 1st place in a tournament is fixed now. Man, that was a difficult bug to track down, but I got it. On the plus side I made it slightly easier, now beating your own score will still count as getting 1st place even if you were already 1st.
saucyone: updated the top players page so that the "Most Gold" category is now updated constantly in real-time. All the other boxes on that page are still delayed for caching purposes. But that category really should update in realtime, so now it does. |

I am still not seeing the 20 Gold reward that I was supposed to receive for completing that quest. Also, since I completed that quest, shouldn't it be replaced with another Active Quest?
