The number of runes has increased, from 26 to 30. The Xen Rune has transformed into the Xa Rune (including all ones presently in existence), and 4 new runes have been discovered: Xe, Xi, Xo, and Xu. None of these runes provide benefits other than unlocking them for the alphabet - however, the achievement to unlock all 30 runes is now possible.
Three of the X runes are uncommon; two are rare.
If you previously had unlocked the Xen rune, you will see that you already have credit for unlocking the Xa rune now.
