Posted - 05/10/2014 : 17:51:47 Does the game search search simply on game names and descriptions, OR does it search on something else ('tags' ??) that we can't actually see ?
I ask after searching for "breakout". This did NOT come up with [Color Bricks] even though the description for that game includes the word "breakout" - but it DID find [Wreckanoid] where "breakout" is not mentioned anywhere in game name OR in description.
It's all very mysterious, and makes it hard to have any confidence in the search system. Hopefully Haplo might elucidate !? (Here's a quote from Haplo in June 2013: "The search box will now make suggestions, right now the only suggestions are the top 20 categories, but I'm gonna expand that to the most common tags associated with games.")
P.S. If there IS a "tag" database somewhere, in need of repair/updating, I'd gladly volunteer. I LOVE "tags" - when they work. lol
