Posted - 09/07/2013 : 01:08:29 @12:59AM: The reward for completing a daily challenge is increased to 30 gold. The reward for the quest to declare a player challenge has been reduced to 10 gold, but the minimum wager for player challenges is also reduced (to 5), so you can still make money doing that quest. Also, the maximum wager for player challenges is increased to 300 gold.
@11:29AM: The lottery jackpot now increases whenever someone finds a lottery ticket from completing a quest, in addition to whenever someone actually purchases one. |

Posted - 09/09/2013 : 21:05:22 @ 9/9/2013 9:00 PM: Added a new quest, "Play 5 different games" with a 5 gold reward and a 20 minute cooldown
This is going to be replacing the "hidden" feature of getting 1 xp/gold per game played per 3 minutes. So now it will be part of the quests and clear that you get xp for playing games (via this quest)
Reward amount and cooldown time may still be adjusted |

Posted - 09/08/2013 : 01:22:47 9/8/2013 01:14AM: Testing a new structure to the quest system today. This should address a lot of concerns about xp and the restrictiveness of the system.
Under the new system:
- It no longer requires you to do certain quests before unlocking others. (active quests). Instead, ALL quests are available, but each one has a cooldown/timer. The timer prevents people from say, rating the same game over and over to farm gold.
- You get 1 xp for completing a quest whether you have energy or not. If you have energy, you get a bonus 5 xp (so 6 total) (and it uses up an energy). The ring of wisdom will provide a flat +1 xp to all quests, whether you have energy or not. So with ring of wisdom equipped, you'll get 2 xp for quests completed with no energy, or 7 xp per quest completed with energy.
- The drop rate of items has been greatly increased. Now you will find an item every TWO times you complete a quest (energy or not). The luck potion will GUARANTEE you find an item every single time you complete a quest (for an hour)
It's kind of coded as a duplicate system to the old system, so it IS possible to go back to the old system if you guys really don't like this. However I think this new way is far superior. Tell me what you think, so we can finetune it and it make it even more awesome! |
