Players can no longer pick numbers? Numbers will be assigned??? Hmmm? Let's follow how this has transpired since this new system started. As soon as numbers started being assigned, we have numerous repetitive winners. Lottery numbers used to be open viewing to the players hourly. In fact I even mentioned to Haplio on several occasions where numbers weren't even picked at all. Now Haplo wants to hide everything. Nothing can be openly viewed and verified. Definitely not accusing. Just seems kind of sneaky to me.

There's nothing to hide. I'm happy to explain how the lottery works.

The jackpot starts at 1000g. Every ticket you buy for 50g raises the jackpot by 25g or so. Also tickets are given out sometimes as quest rewards (random item).

Before there was a limit of 20 tickets each person could have. I realized that it wasn't cost efficient to try and outbuy the lottery anyway, especially since tickets are given out for free sometimes as quest rewards now (random item). If people want to go broke by "buying the lottery" they can. The highest jackpot we've had, I think, (4k or so?) I was watching and someone spent almost 8k to win it. lol

Having no limit on the number of tickets you can have, also makes it simpler for when we'll be able to mail/gift items to other players. What happens if you want to give someone a lottery ticket, but they already have 20? Easier to just have no limit.
