How are the numbers selected for the gold shop lottery? I won that thing 3 times since I have started playing it again in about 2 weeks and that seems unlikely to me. I do buy 7 tickets each time, but still, that seems unreal.  |

The system where you can (POSSIBLY, there is a CHANCE) get lottery tickets and other items from quest rewards, is almost in place. Woohoo!
Also, this is just an idea and going on the back burner for now but, someday in the future you will be able to attach gold and/or items right from the send mail (private message) screen. To attach it to a note that you send someone. That will happen eventually :) |

The jackpots pretty high already -- Quick, everybody buy a bunch of lottery tickets before somebody wins. Buy the max (20), then buy some for other people (your friends etc) also!

If you look in the news forum, the lottery has been won almost 100 times since it started being posted there. As you can see from that list its not uncommon for there to be streaks where one person wins a bunch in a row. The simple reason is because not that many people play the lottery simultaneously. I set the drawing frequency up to where someone wins about once a week give or take. Once there are new ways to get lottery tickets other than buying them, it should be a more popular system and when that happens, we might go back to 4-digit ticket numbers instead of 3-digit. |

WHAT??????!!!!!!! Can you believe that? Again....! Would someone else start buying at least 7 tickets? I'd like to see if you buy that many tickets would it increase your chances of winning also. Just curious. |

The drawings are random, of course. However, for each round there's usually only a handful (3-4) of players that buy any tickets at all. So it's pretty easy to win multiple times.
One of the things that's in the works is a way to get lottery tickets WITHOUT actually buying them. As kind of a quest reward. When that is implemented, there will be a larger variety of lottery participants and there should be less cases of one person winning multiple times in a row. |
