Posted - 01/12/2012 : 15:22:22 Am I doing something wrong? Am I doing something that is against the rules of this site? If I am, why wasn't I ever told about it? This is the reason that I ask. I just recieved a strange shock when I logged into my profile page just now. Right above my player name was this highlighted notice. It read: "This player has been banned for cheating. After 7 days this player will no longer be able to log in." Me cheat? How? At what? I haven't played games long enough to even know how to cheat. But I will say this much. I had a message in my inbox. The message was just to inform me that my Player Challenge had been beaten. After I read that message, the "banned" notice disapperared from above my player name.

Posted - 01/12/2012 : 16:17:22 Believe me, if were a cheat, I would retain more of my first place scores. If I were a cheat, I would win more of my Player Challenges. Yes, it was quite a shock seeing that I was banned. It felt like I just stepped off the curb into traffic and was narrowly missed being hit by an oncoming bus. It was a shock but I'll get over it in time. Hey! I'll be 60 in a month and a half. Don't you know that you can't scare us old people like that! It might cause a heart attack! <vbg> I figured this was an error. We're all human and we all make errors. I know I've made my fair share of errors.

I have implemented today a new banning system so, if necessary, I can get rid of people who are cheating. There was 1 person in particular that I needed to use this on, as they were doing things that were clearly humanly impossible. The message showing up on your profile (or anyone else's) was a mistake and should not have happened. Rest assured, I will not ban anyone unless I have clear and compelling evidence that they have been cheating. Ask anybody who has complained to me about people cheating, it takes a LOT of evidence before I will take action. You have always been completely in the clear Rock and have nothing to worry about.
