My SiteBank

Your SiteBank rewards you for getting links to PlayItOnTheWeb from other sites. Use this page to claim the links you have gotten for us. The SiteBank will automatically monitor the referenced site to ensure that our link stays on it, and as long as it does, you will receive 1 gold or more every day (per site). Since most links are permanent, this means you will receive gold forever for each link you get to PlayItOnTheWeb, unless the website removes the link or it expires. An example would be that you could place a link to http://www.playitontheweb.com on your own blog, then claim credit for it by submitting the URL to the page on which the link appears here in the SiteBank. You would then earn gold on a daily basis for that link for as long as it exists. Another example would be that you could convince someone you know to put a link on their site to PlayItOnTheWeb, or convince another blog author or journalist to do an article about our website, and as long as the link appears in the article and points to any page on PIOTW, you could claim credit for it.

Unfortunately, there is occasionally a website that is written in an unusual way such that our system will not be able to verify the link, and we apologize for that. This happens in less than 5% of the cases. General guidelines for what works the best are found at the bottom of this page.

Link Eligibility

The link can be to any page on PlayItOnTheWeb (including the homepage). After establishing a link to us on another site, come here with the URL of the page the link appears on, and claim credit for getting/finding the link. Only one link per website will be credited, subdomains do NOT count as separate sites, and the first person to claim a link on a particular domain gets credit. Links must visible in the source code (indexable by search engines), so sites that place links with javascript will not work. Links from google and other search engines, and links with a "?" in the URL are not accepted. However, links from the homepage of a site, and links from sites with special keywords in the domain name, provide 5X earnings. The current special keywords are: game, gaming, arcade, flash.

The first time you access PlayItOnTheWeb each day (while logged into your account), you will automatically be awarded gold for all verified links you have claimed.
